This policy brief provides policymakers, civil society organisations and research performing institutions with recommendations on how to use Citizen Social Science to support and shape social change. It offers an introduction to the approach and lays out the benefits and challenges experienced. It is based on all outcomes of our international research project CoAct implementing participatory research methods and reflecting their impacts in different settings and regions.
